Following Your Heart

I do hope that everyone that visits my website will feel free to blog with me. I intend to treat my website as a way to keep in touch with my fellow artists, to keep each other inspired. You can talk about most anything, but I ask that you keep it clean as there is a possibility that my younger students will be visiting. It's important to me that this be a place of respect. So, what does following your heart mean to you? To me, it does not mean following the first emotion that you feel. I believe that our hearts know what is best for us overall, not just in a particular moment. Following your heart means making a decision that may not be logical, but is based on truth. I like to think that when I am sensing something from my gut, I say that I have a feeling, I just have a feeling and when I am following my heart, I just feel.
